Insight Employment are currently seeking Production Operatives to work for a leading bakery in Bedford.
The Role: –
This role involves working on a production line of a food manufacturing company. You will be unloading bread and packing within a fast-paced environment. You will be labelling boxes, palletising the bread, and making sure this goes to the correct location.
Requirements: –
- Previous food Production Operative experience is preferred but not essential.
- Previous Production Operative experience is essential.
- Must be able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pack correctly at speed with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Must be Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
- Good level of personal hygiene
- Must be able to work in a nut environment.
- Must be prepared to remove all jewellery, make up, false nails & false eye lashes.
- Must be a team player.
- Able to work a full 12-hour shift on your feet.
Continental shifts and hours: –
Day shift: –
4 days on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off 06:00-18:00
Night shift: –
4 days on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off 18:00-06:00
Rates: –
Days – £10.93 per hour
Nights – £13.66 per hour
*Overtime rates: –
Days – £16.40 per hour
Nights – £20.49 per hour
*These rates apply when you work over your shift pattern
Inductions are provided before you start work.
